Paradoxy

One man is anxious about losing his lover,
yet he is the one who decides to leave.
The other man is anxious about being trapped,
yet he is the one who won't seem to let him go.

One lost his moral compass, the other sometimes thinks he's lost his mind.
Eros makes us all insane, gods and men alike.

I hesitate to provoke the gods, but I am feeling better, three weeks in.
Not great, but not so tumultuous. I am clearer, in my gut, about what was good and what was not, what I want and what I don't want. When I think of sweet sweet sweet times past that will not come again, it's tough. But the price was getting higher and higher, finally, too much.
