More gayness

Asking the Boy Scout questions that matter the most:

If you know anything about the politics of gay rights, you know that there is absolutely nothing that the Boy Scouts of American can do right now that will not lead to major divisions in their organization. The key force that will cause a future split is, of course, the deep divide among mainstream religious groups on the moral status of homosexual behavior.
There is no safe ground for the Boy Scouts, none whatsoever.

Having set about splitting and destroying several Protestant Churches, the LGBTs will now take on the Boy Scouts.

All, for, how many people?

Minority mania, one of the many symptoms of US and Western decline.

It's like Les Mis, but all over a marriage license, instead of a loaf of bread. My accusation of virulent secularism in the gay community has been, "well, it's okay to hate people who hate you." Pots and kettles, and Caliban and mirrors. So frustrating.

The Boys Scouts of America and The Boy Scouts are two distinct organizations. The Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts have never disallowed atheists or homosexuals. Only the BSA has done that.

Lord Baden-Powell was probably what was once called a unarian, a non-active homosexual.

Your Excellency, at this point, I care not one whit if a historical figure was homosexual. The "Lincoln was gay" theory grasps at straws. Quite sad.

The only historical figure of Western civilization who I will entertain discussion of sexuality is Richard the Lionheart. Documents show that he once made public confession of "being in danger of the sin of Sodom," which, if I know anything about the time period, could only refer to homosexual impulses. I don't think the idea of Sodom's sin being inhospitality was prevalent until a few years ago amongst Queer theorists who tried to revise the Bible.
